I ‘am graduate of Masters in Architecture of UTS 2010. One of my ambitions is to become a
successful architect and be able to produce a high level of design solutions for velours types of
projects. I believe Excellence in architectural design is achieved by understanding the needs of
clients and providing the appropriate design solutions that best meet these requirements. I have
previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture at UTS and Advanced Diploma of
Architectural Technology at Ultimo TAFE. I have been working as a drafter at SB Architects for the
past 5 years.
Exposed to numerous stages in design process, ranging from sketch design through to construction
documentation. Working in SB Architects allowed me to experience valuable insight into the
workings of an office and a keen attitude working as a group.

Belmore Park Kiosk

The attack on the urban

Unlike any another building in the CBD the Belmore kiosk offers limitless opportunities for amazing functions and facilities. located just minutes away from Sydney central station the Belmore kiosk brings glamour and life back into the bland urban landscape. The exterior of Belmore kiosk is rather muscular in structure, hard edged surfaces in conjunction with the ornamental tinted glass allows the viewer to scope Sydney in a whole new perceptive. The ornamental tinted glass brings excitement back to the urban fabric of the city, allowing users to experience a different kind of atmosphere environment.

Embracing the dreadful envelop

The metropolis is thought by many as the slum of humanity . It isolates itself with the environment creating a hideous and complex system of network within its domain. The residue of the metropolis creates a lower class of existence. Leaching its life from others, my design embraces the idea of the deposit, which took upon the dreadful as a means of beauty thus amplifying the excess from the slum, creating its own inhabitable space from its creation. The growth of these excess tissues from the metropolis encourages the idea of a mini mega-structure of inheritance with the isolation of the urban.

City as an organism

The city is an ongoing process of evolution of buildings , engulfing the natural environment expanding to the maximum limits of what society has to offer. it then reaches to its breaking point and decomposition takes place. Natural selection among all things occur within time. The winner is the one that best to adapt to its natural surroundings. My design captures the idea of an parasitic bug which takes life upon on top of the decaying city. The process has been describe as the “scab” of the evolution of buildings, which in richens the existing thus creating a self-exalting intelligence among the decay, which opens to a endless possible inhabitable within the dark areas within the life of the city.

The effects of technology

The vital effects of technology has fundamentally shaped the understanding of vision throughout history by means of various optical tools, which has allowed the visualization of the would from a much more diverse perspective. the camera obscura has change the awareness of our environment, which consequently question the concept between the connection of the mind and body. the manipulation of these perceptions affected the sight of vision in such a way that isolated that which is physical and the space in which in occupies. the changes in technology has shifted the idea of human existence and their inheritance of space, amplifying in with complex definition and hence establishing a new assemble of language which created an endless boundary for its user to further improve revolutionary machinery and make the most of what technology has to offer.

Interchangeable Facade System

This project challenges the idea of the built environment in different types of scales. It connects the digital realm with human experience. This system allows the user to freely manipulate the facade system and adapt it to their needs by the interchanging of the components. It also enhances the visual experience and allows the user to feel their contribution of the digital space, affecting connections of the environment with the human experience. As a digital medium, the components of the project represent information from users and thus manipulate the experiences within one space. Flexible modular system Façade of each module can be customizable by screwing and unscrewing bottles. The whole layer of the façade is removable to allow variations in pixel form. Environmental materials .This project uses recycle material that enhance sustainability since it becomes one current issues in design industry. It is not necessary to use new materials, but utilizing left over bottles instead to create a façade. Interchangeable scale (how) Scale of the project can be adjusted according to the size of the bottle attached on the façade. For example, a small bottle that is used for pills can represent a scale for interior purposes, but a size similar to gallon bottle would correspond to a whole building façade. Human interaction .The flexible modular system actually allows people to interact by participating in customizing the façade. Designs and variations of the façade are resulted from different bottles that people attach to each module.
